Germany: New Service Center for Danfoss Turbocor® Compressors
Danfoss will open a new Regional Service Center in April, 2016, near Frankfurt, Germany showing that we are committed to providing best-in class service and support for our customers in Europe, where over 20,000 Danfoss Turbocor® Compressors are installed.
This is the first time that Danfoss bundles service, aftermarket sales, and root cause capability for Turbocor® Compressors on European soil.
“The service center has a strategic importance for our customers and Danfoss. Offenbach is the ideal location for the Regional Service Center. Situated perfectly in the center of Europe, the city is less than 9km from Frankfurt. A city which hosts 65 million travellers annually, a highly skilled workforce, and advanced transportation systems,” commented Ole Moller-Jensen, President Danfoss Central European Region.
This facility will pave the way for Danfoss to provide high-level aftermarket sales and service, with the goal to make it easier for our customers to do business with Danfoss. The facility will also serve as a distribution center for spare part sales in order to reduce lead-time for replacement parts.
President Danfoss Cooling Jürgen Fischer remarked: “With this investment, the Offenbach site will offer preventive and corrective maintenance and aftermarket sales and service. Our European customers will be able to return compressors for repair within Europe, removing the need for those customers to carry high levels of inventory and spare parts. The proximity also allows synergies to be created between Danfoss and our customers, which include stronger communication and feedback.”About Danfoss Turbocor® Compressors
